The CRM Alliance welcomes its first member of its new lawyers’ network and new associate member - Mayer Brown.
Mayer Brown LLP is a leading law firm with offices in the Americas, Europe and Asia. The Brussels office is an international law office of over 25 professionals, specializing in antitrust and competition, EC/WTO/WCO trade and customs rules, government affairs, international tax planning, transfer pricing and tax policy, as well as regulatory law.
Mayer Brown will be represented by Jean-Philippe Montford, one of Europe’s leading legal practitioners on REACH and the leader of Mayer Brown’s REACH team. He has over 20 years of experience in advising the EC Commission (Feasibility of ECHA, RiP 3.4 on data sharing), trade associations (e.g. CEFIC, IFRA, IAEG, TIP) and multinational companies throughout the supply chain on REACH related matters.
Mr. Montford provides strategic advice to companies and trade associations to help them comply with REACH and the CLP. He advises companies on data sharing, SIEF and consortia formation and management, and organises product defence under the REACH and CLP Authorisation, Restriction, Evaluation, Classification and Labelling processes. He is also increasingly involved in litigation on product regulatory cases before the European Courts and the ECHA Board of Appeal, with a very successful record.
