Securing Europe's access to critical raw materials

for a competitive and resilient industry.

Europe's climate, digital, defence and industrial ambitions depend on a secure, sustainable and competitive supply of critical raw materials. In a rapidly evolving global landscape, ensuring well functioning and diversified supply chains is essential to support industrial development and reduce overreliance on single regions such as Asia.

The European Union needs a strong, coherent and predictable critical raw materials policy to deliver on its strategic objectives and support industrial competitiveness.

The Critical Raw Materials Alliance brings together industry stakeholders to contribute expertise, promote effective policymaking, and support the development of resilient and sustainable raw materials ecosystems.

Critical Raw Materials

Critical Raw Materials are the building blocks of our modern society. These materials are used in a wide range of commercial, government and life-saving technologies and hold the key to many future applications. CRMs will move ideas from research to products in commerce.

Events

In order to promote the importance of critical raw materials to policy-makers, the CRM Alliance organises bi-annual political luncheon events to discuss the issues affecting the CRM industry. Our members directly express concerns to European and international policy-makers.
