The CRM Alliance has appointed Jaroslaw Kluczniok of Polish company JSW as its new President. The nomination has been made by the association's Board for two years. He is the first President representing a company.
Jaroslaw Kluczniok is particularly pleased with his nomination: “We are in a crucial time. Our political leaders have recognised the importance of critical raw materials and the need for a secure supply to the EU. A new Critical Raw Materials Act (2023) has a number of ambitious goals, and we want to make our contribution as to how these goals are best met". Jaroslaw adds: "While some policies can be developed for the entire group of CRMs, they should also address the unique characteristics of each commodity market. I am looking forward to reaching out to the new Members of Parliament and new Commissioners. We will soon announce the next event of the CRM Alliance. Given the challenges needed to be addressed, we are looking forward to the cooperation with new Presidencies of the Council to show a strong and united position of our industry."
