US asks for feedback on $675m CRM research programme

On 9 August, the US Government, via the Department of Energy (DOE) issued a Request for Information on the development and implementation of a $675 million Critical Materials Research, Development, Demonstration, and Commercialisation Programme.

The programme will be funded under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law passed in November 2021, and will address vulnerabilities in the domestic critical materials supply chain while advancing domestic sourcing and production and strengthening the US position as a global manufacturing leader.

The RFI is open 9 September with respondents invited to email the DOE programme directly.
