Campaign to promote and not substitute Critical Raw Materials

Five Members of the Alliance participated in the Special Action against Substitution, coordinated by the CRM Alliance Secretariat. The aim of the special action was to highlight the important applications of CRMs, the need to protect their uses and promote a better understanding of the complex process associated with substitution.


In particular, the  CRM Alliance has taken action to highlight the important applications of CRMs in various key sectors of the European Economy such as in Alloys, Transport, Electronics, Defence & Aerospace and Medical Devices.
